Bar membership card

 MSF Card

A Bar Council membership card will be dispatched to those who pay the Bar Representation Fee (BRF). It is your passport to claim the benefit of affinity products and services available at discounted prices.

By taking advantage of all the products and services available through Member Services, you would be likely to save far more than the BRF in a full year.

Important information about your Bar membership card

  • Your Bar membership card will be issued annually on payment of your BRF and will normally be valid until the expiry date shown on the card.

  • You may be asked to present this card to take advantage of some products, services and discounts.

  • The card remains the property of the Bar Council at all times and is returnable on demand.

  • The card is not evidence of practising rights and must not be held out as such. Misuse of the card in this, or any other way, will leave you open to disciplinary action by the Bar Standards Board.
