What is the Bar Representation Fee
The Bar Representation Fee (BRF) provides essential funding for
the vital campaigning work and representative work of the Bar
Some of these services for students and junior members of the
Pupillage Fair allows students looking towards
a career at the Bar to meet with a number of key representatives
from chambers, course providers and SBAs, as well as previous
pupils who will be able to offer advice and tips.

All BRF funds are used exclusively for representative activities
to support the profession. The BRF does not fund any of the
commercial work carried out by the Bar Council, which is in itself
a further source of funding that has allowed us to freeze the BRF
payment for many years.
How to pay the BRF?
The annual BRF fee is £24 per year and can be paid in two ways;
